Ceramic Questions

Hello Friends,

I have a couple of questions. I would like to melt metal with a torch into a ceramic mold to make a brooch. Will cone 6 ceramic keep 2000 degree heat here. What can I add to my cone 6 ceramic here? Do you bake the ceramic before using the torch with?
