Potter's Choice - ShinoThe origin of the name "shino" is uncertain. It may refer to the potter with whom it was originally associated or to the white color of the glaze. This lead-free, cone 6 produces the fiery oranges of the flashing that occurs in traditional shinos. Shino needs to be applied irregularly. Apply 2 irregular coats. Once you have used it awhile you will see the effects that you can get by varying the application.

Potter's Choice - Saturation MetallicThis lead free Cone 5-6 glaze is a steel grey color with a subtle sheen similar to a well worn pencil lead. Saturation metallic is great for sculptural work tring to acheive a metallic quality.

Potter's Choice - Blue RutileThis lead-free, cone 6 glaze produces a caramel brown color interlaced with crisp blues. Blue Rutile needs to be applied heavy. Apply at least four coats. It will flow just a little and create beautiful effects.

Potter's Choice - Salt BuffThis lead-free, cone 6 glaze embraces the princible of chance that pervades all salt firings. With a matte cream base you will happen upon blushes of dark brown, rust, and mustard. Salt Buff has to be applied on the thin side. No more than two irregular coats are needed to get the random effect of salt glazing.

Potter's Choice - Albany SlipThis lead-free, cone 6 glazes creates a mottled red color with alternationing light and dark tones. A beautiful reproduction of the coveted original!

Ellen's Tin Barn BlueA tried and true cone 6 blue. With different thickness of application the blue can vary from a denim to a dark blue! This is a powdered glaze ordered by weight in pounds.

Alfredo's Creative Clay YellowA very dependable strong, solid canary yellow. This is a powdered glaze ordered by weight in pounds.

Catawba BlueIslands of blue highlight the thinner layer of glaze which turns an earthy brown. Very similar to many cone 6 "floating blue" glazes. This is a powdered glaze ordered by weight in pounds.

Catawba ShinoTalk about a versatile glaze capturing the cone 10 white shino appearance! A thin layer yields an earth brown color with additional layers, drips or spatters turning a wonderful ivory cream color. This is a powdered glaze ordered by weight in pounds.
